Children

The aim of the children’s work at St Stephen’s and St Wulstan’s is to:

Partner with parents and carers to make disciples of Jesus.

Sunday Activities

The following groups run during the 10.00am service at St Stephen’s:

Crèche (age 0 – 3)

Parents and carers are encouraged to return to church, but are welcome to stay in Crèche if necessary.

Climbers (Reception – Year 1) & Explorers (Year 2 – 5)

At the 10am service the children come into church for the first part of the service (about 15 minutes) and then leave for activities in their own age groups, upstairs in the Tyndale room.

They then return to the service during the closing song.

Once a month there is an All-Age Service where the whole church family stays together for the entire service.

Other Activities

Explorers (Year 2 – Year 5)

At Explorers on Thursdays we play games, make craft and learn about Jesus. We meet at St Stephens’s on Thursdays during term time, 6 – 7pm.

Holiday Activities

We also run lots of different events during school holidays for children from Reception to Year 5.
