You would be most welcome at any of our Sunday services. They all feature clear and relevant Bible teaching, as the Bible says that this is how God has chosen to communicate with us and where we encounter Jesus. We also enjoy singing a mixture of contemporary worship songs and more traditional hymns.
Due to the pandemic, there may be some disruption caused as to when and how we meet at church. We normally meet on Sundays in person and online at 9am, 10.30am and 6pm. If we are meeting in person, we’d love to welcome you to church, though you will need to book in advance due to restrictions on our capacity. You can find details of our online services here.
9am at St Stephen’s
A short and informal service aimed at households with babies and children under 11.
10.30am at St Stephen’s

6pm at St Wulstan’s
This is the service that many of our students come to. If you’re new to Birmingham we’d love to meet you.
Good News from God (Romans 5-8)
What does it mean to be right with God? What does that mean for Christians now? What will it mean for us in the future? What now is the Christian’s relationship with sin, the law, suffering and death, and most importantly with God himself? These are some of the questions answered in this second part of Romans.
One writer helpfully gives this section the title ‘Living under Grace.’ Chapter 5 begins by telling us that “since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (5:1). Chapter 8 ends by telling us that nothing “will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (8:39). If we belong to Jesus we have peace with God and we are loved by God, and nothing can change either of those things. That is just part of what it means to live under grace!
