We take seriously Jesus’ commission to his followers to take the gospel into all the world and to make disciples of Jesus.
We have a long history of sending and supporting Mission Partners in different parts of the world. Currently we have two families serving with Agapé’s FamilyLife ministry and another couple working with Agapé’s Jesus film project, focused on Russia and eastern Europe, all with the aim of making Jesus known. Another family is involved in pioneering work of reaching people with the gospel in a sensitive location in Africa. Another couple are preparing to serve in East Asia from 2023. These are all people who have been sent out from our church.
We also have Associate Mission Partners working with international students in Birmingham, and with youth ministry in the Anglican diocese of Marsabit in northern Kenya. More details can be found in our Mission Links leaflet.
In addition, through individuals in our church, there are a number of links with ministries in Bolivia, Indonesia, China and Romania. We also encourage students and others to go on short-term mission trips, such as those organised by OMF’s Serve Asia programme.
