making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ in Birmingham and for the world

We aim to build up young as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ and to reach others with His good news.

As a team of leaders we seek to do this by:

  • teaching Jesus from the Bible
  • praying for the young people
  • modelling Christian living as we meet together

Club 114 (11 to 14 year olds)

Meets during the 10.00am service at St Stephen’s. We have fun as we study the Bible, pray and do various activities together.

Cross Section (14 to 18 year olds)

Meets in the evenings from 7.45-9.00pm at St Stephen’s. We have a talk or a Bible study, pray together, play games and eat lots of toast! From January, we will meet from 5:30-7:00pm.

Club 114 (11-14 year olds)

We meet on Thursday evenings at St Stephen’s from 6.30-8.00pm. This is a more informal, social meeting where we have a short Bible study as well as doing things like bowling, playing games in the park, cooking, or doing some art and craft.

Cross Section (14 to 18 year olds)

We meet on Thursdays after school, from 4:30-5:30pm. We eat cereal and chat, then at 5:00pm start our Bible Study. From January, we will be looking at the book of Ruth.

Social Events

Each group does a number of different social activities throughout the year. These include things like: Film Nights, BBQs, games in the park and going out for ice-cream.

Weekend Away

Once a year, around October, Club 114 and Cross Section go on a weekend away together. This is a chance to get away from normal routines, have fun, socialise and learn together as we look at the Bible.

Summer Camps

These are a great time when we can go on holiday, meet young people from all over the country, do exciting new activities and learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow him.
