Fellowship Groups are groups of around 8-12 people that meet regularly for Bible study and prayer in homes in the nearby area, and are a vital part of our church family life.
Why do Fellowship Groups meet?
…just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.Colossians 2:6-7
With this in mind, the goal of Fellowship Groups is to learn to live with Christ as Lord over every area of our lives.
What do Fellowship Groups do?
If we are to encourage one another to live with Christ as Lord, then Bible study and prayer must be at the heart of our times together – along with plenty of time to get to know one another better and to share our lives (usually over coffee and cake!).
When do Fellowship Groups meet?
Most groups meet weekly on Wednesday evening, but there are also groups meeting Tuesday morning and early Wednesday morning, and groups for women on Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon (fortnightly). Once a month, instead of Fellowship Groups, there is a Prayer Gathering for the whole church family .
